When the bill man demands payments that are not in your means at the moment, things can get pretty nasty. Debt collectors and creditors are demanding and sometimes just all around nasty? Even after you've told them you don't have the money to pay, they continue to call and harass you.

If you find out that any of these collection agencies and creditors are talking about your debts issues with employers, friends or even your parents you can refer to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. It's important that you try to make an effort to repay your debts if you want to protect your credit, but at the same time, don't let these people take advantage of you. In some cases you can even sue them after they've discussed personal information with anybody but yourself.
